What do you need to become a SMART Senior DataOps Engineer?
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Proven experience in DevOps, DataOps, SRE or platform engineering roles;
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, especially data & analytics services (Data Lake, SQL Database, Synapse, Data Factory, Key Vault);
Strong experience administering Databricks (clusters, workspaces, job orchestration, performance tuning);
Solid knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep);
Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash ou PowerShell for automation and tooling;
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI);
Good understanding of networking, security, IAM, and cloud architecture best practices;
Experience with monitoring and observability solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana);
Familiarity with data engineering fundamentals, ETL/ELT workflows, Spark/Delta Lake and cloud data architectures;
A problem-solving mindset, autonomy, and the ability to work in fast-paced and Agile environments.
