Data Architect (Databricks & Governance) About the Role: We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Data Architect to design, build, and oversee our next-generation data ecosystem. In this role, you will be the technical authority driving our Data Management and Data Governance initiatives. You will leverage Databricks to create scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that empower the organization to make data-driven decisions with total trust in data quality. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture & Design: Define the blueprints for data storage, integration, and processing pipelines utilizing Databricks (Lakehouse architecture). - Data Governance & Strategy: Implement data governance frameworks, including data lineage, data cataloging, metadata management, and access control policies. - Data Management: Oversee the data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption, ensuring high availability, data quality, and optimal performance. - Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable technical data models. - Best Practices: Establish and enforce standards for data security, compliance (e.g., GDPR), and architectural best practices across the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a similar senior data role. - Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing data solutions on Databricks. - Strong expertise in Data Management principles and Data Governance tools/methodologies. - Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT processes, and master data management (MDM). - Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data stack tools. Languages: - English (B1/B2): Intermediate to professional independent communication skills (written and spoken). - Portuguese: Native or professional proficiency.
