Job Description • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot • Design and implement REST APIs for frontend and system integrations • Ensure secure development practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployments on OpenShift • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams, participating in code reviews and incident resolution Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience 3 to 5 years of experience in backend development with Java Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (Spring Web, Data, Security) Experience with cloud environments or platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure Know-how Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and backend architecture principles Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins or GitHub Actions) Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) Good understanding of role-based access control and authorization concepts Nice to have: experience with Keycloak, Docker, JPA/Hibernate, monitoring and logging tools Very nice to have: familiarity with frontend technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js) Languages Working Methods and Style Structured and quality-oriented approach to work Focus on best practices and clean code Comfortable working with automated pipelines and cloud environments Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams Personality Strong problem-solving skills Sense of ownership and responsibility Attention to security and quality Team-oriented with good communication skills Exchange with colleagues around the world Health insurance and medical office on site (general surgeon, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic) Training opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products ️ Sports and health related activities Success stories don ́t just happen.
