Business Development Manager Job Description

At our agency, we believe in sustainable, long-term growth through valuable relationship building and nurturing. We welcome prospective team members who can help push our vision forward.

We're currently searching for an experienced business development manager to create and implement an effective sales strategy that expands our reach and strengthens client relationships.

This is a rare opportunity to build a business development department from the ground up, working closely with some of the leading experts in our industry. Over time, you will gain and train sales professionals, while actively seeking out other business opportunities to boost revenue and differentiate our agency on the competitive market.

Work from the comfort of your own home. This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a business growth strategy from the ground up.
* Set up, optimize, and maintain a CRM system.
* Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
* Nurture and grow relationships with clients and prospects.
* Provide continuous, constructive feedback to key stakeholders.
* Use financial techniques to improve revenue.
* Monitor and report on sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.
* Track all business-related invoices.
* Train and oversee the work of sales professionals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Proven record of business and sales growth.
* Experience in customer service, marketing, or sales-related fields.
* Experience specifically in SEO, Digital Marketing, and/or Web Development is a plus.
* Experience in managing sales or marketing teams.
* Educational background in business, marketing, or finance is desirable.
* Mastery of business and sales growth techniques.
* Exceptional project and people management skills.
* Organizational skills.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Negotiation and networking skills.
* Enthusiasm for the role, our agency, and our vision.

Benefits:

Base + Commission.

Target Salary: $108,000 - $250,000.

1099 Contract-based employment.
