Job Description We are looking for a Software Development Specialist to secure Bosch competitiveness by transforming our landscape into an optimal, cutting‐edge manufacturing IT environment. Responsibilities Develop and optimize Oracle databases with strong expertise in PL/SQL. Design and manage Oracle objects (tables, views, procedures, packages, triggers). Interpret and refine complex data models to ensure efficiency and scalability. Perform Oracle performance tuning to enhance system reliability. Apply analytical thinking and problem‐solving skills to deliver robust solutions. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams and communicate effectively to drive innovation. Qualifications Education & Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in software/database development; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Know‐how: Expertise in Oracle Database Development and PL/SQL; strong knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and optimization; experience designing and managing Oracle objects. Additional Skills (Nice to Have) Experience creating and maintaining Docker images for database development. Previous involvement in database migration or modernization projects. Experience with Oracle APEX. Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation. Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git). Languages Fluency in English (spoken and written). Working Style and Methods Can work independently and within agile teams; understands architecture and applies best practices in database development.
