Freight Specialist Job Description
The Freight Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless receipt of raw materials and finished products into our factories and warehouses. This position requires strong negotiation and management skills, with experience in international transport processes.
Responsibilities include:
* Receiving raw materials into our factories and warehouses;
* Delivering finished products to large distribution customers and partners;
Requirements for Success:
* Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field;
* Experience in export/import processes, logistics, freight forwarding, and freight brokerage;
* Knowledge of commodity classifications, TARICs, INCOTerms, customs origin of goods, duties, and taxes;
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
* Collaborative and organized approach to work;
