Marketing Communications Specialist Job Description
Mission: The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the execution of local marketing and communication strategies, aligned with the brand's premium positioning and overall business objectives.
* The role includes responsibilities in content creation, campaign coordination, public relations, and brand activations support, ensuring full consistency with brand guidelines and communication standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital channels, and on-property media, as outlined in the annual marketing plan;
* Coordinate the development of marketing materials, including brochures, videos, collaterals, internal presentations, and resort signage;
* Implement the brand's voice, tone, and identity across all communication materials, ensuring consistent messaging and branding;
* Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize web content and enhance online visibility;
* Develop high-quality written content in English and Portuguese for various marketing campaigns and communications;
* Coordinate photography and video production for marketing campaigns and asset banks;
* Support PR strategies in coordination with external agencies;
* Prepare press releases, media kits, and editorial content for media outreach and distribution;
* Coordinate media visits, influencer activations, and lifestyle partnerships to promote the brand and increase awareness;
* Assist in planning, promoting, and executing on-property events and brand activations;
* Support the development and maintenance of the Resort's marketing calendar to ensure strategic alignment and effective resource allocation;
* Coordinate event logistics, materials, and content capture to deliver a seamless experience;
* Prepare internal communication pieces to inform and engage employees across departments;
* Analyze performance metrics, KPIs, and PR coverage to provide actionable insights and recommendations;
* Contribute to regular marketing reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field;
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing and/or communications role, preferably within hospitality or luxury sectors;
* Proven skills in editorial content development and brand storytelling;
* High proficiency in written and spoken English and Portuguese;
* Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple priorities;
* Familiarity with luxury branding standards and communication principles.
