Position SummaryThe Purchasing Specialist manages ordering activities for Procurement Commodities within France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Portugal.
This includes operational sourcing activities following the Procurement processes and strategies.
Essential ResponsibilitiesReview of Purchase Requests (PRs)
Purchase Order (PO) creation / update and follow up of POs
Operational Sourcing
Service Desk activities (provide support to internal stakeholders)
Maintenance of info records (e.G. catalogues)
Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders (internal customers, buyers)
Use of Airbus ERP Systems (SAP)
Use of other specific tools (Coupa)
Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport the onboarding of new team members
Support the team leader in reporting tasks
Requirements1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement
Communication skills
Customer focused, understands priorities and knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
Eager to learn to work with new tools, open to change and to continuous improvement
Fluent in English (negotiation level)
French, Spanish or German would be a plus
