System Performance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for project delivery ensuring effective communication with client stakeholders on project status steering and delivery quality.
2. Act as the technical leader providing guidance and expertise on project technologies and challenges to Crossjoin technical teams
3. Ensure that project outcomes meet internal quality KPIs and reporting standards.
4. Participate directly in technical delivery including:
5. Conducting technical reviews of team deliverables.
6. Ensuring the optimal performance of information systems overseeing system stability and responsiveness.
7. Leading the troubleshooting of performance issues including metrics collection log instrumentation monitoring and incident tracking
8. Performing database auditing query analysis and tuning
9. Conducting in-depth application performance analysis identifying bottlenecks and implementing tuning measures to improve overall system efficiency.
10. Collaborate with client and internal teams to proactively identify performance challenges and deliver solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
11. Provide mentorship to team members on performance best practices and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's and/or Master's in Computer Science or similar;
2. 5 or more years of professional experience in Information Systems in roles such as:
3. IT Operations Manager;
4. Site Reliability Engineer;
5. Platform Engineer lead;
6. Production Support lead;
7. Devops team lead;
8. Infrastructure lead;
9. Cloud Operations lead;
10. Systems Engineering lead;
11. Hands-on practice and knowledge in the following technologies: Linux Java at least one relational Database Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL or other and technology architectures Cloud providers AWS Azure GCP OCI
12. Passionate and willing to dive into other technologies;
13. Good level of English minimum B2 level.
Nice to Have:
1. Willingness to travel;
2. Experience with Kubernetes Docker Openshift and non-relational Databases MongoDB Cassandra ElasticSearch Redis...
3. Experience with APM monitoring tools Dynatrace AppDynamics Datadog NewRelic and/or ELK stack
